How It Works
The Master of Discipleship Licentiate (MDL) program is built on the model Jesus used with His twelve disciples — intentional, relational, and transformative. Our 90-day process takes you from enrollment through graduation and into active ministry placement, with personal mentorship and biblical training at every step. Here is exactly what to expect.
Apply & Enroll
Begin by submitting your application and completing enrollment. Our team will review your background, spiritual journey, and ministry goals. We welcome believers at every stage of faith — no prior seminary training is required. Once accepted, you will receive your welcome packet, program materials, and be assigned to a small cohort group.
Biblical Foundation Training
The first phase of the MDL program establishes a deep, Scripture-rooted foundation. You will study the core doctrines of the Christian faith, the life and teachings of Jesus, and the principles of effective discipleship as modeled in the New Testament. All instruction is led by experienced, ordained ministry leaders.
Personal Mentorship
Throughout the program, you are paired with a seasoned mentor who walks alongside you personally. Small class sizes ensure you receive individualized attention, honest feedback, and spiritual accountability. This is not a passive online course — it is a living, breathing discipleship relationship modeled after Christ's own method.
Practical Ministry Application
Learning without doing is incomplete. In this phase, you will begin applying your training in real ministry contexts — leading Bible studies, participating in outreach, supporting veterans and first responders, or serving in one of our partner ministries. This hands-on experience is supervised and debriefed with your mentor.
Graduation & Licensing
Upon successful completion of the 90-day program, you will receive your Master of Discipleship Licentiate (MDL) credential. This private licensing recognizes your training and equips you to operate as a commissioned disciple-maker within the Twelve Disciples Life network and beyond.
Ministry Placement & Ongoing Support
Graduation is not the end — it is the beginning. MDL graduates receive guaranteed job placement opportunities in ministry roles with competitive compensation, ranging from part-time positions to full-time roles exceeding $100,000 per year. You remain connected to the 12D.Life community for ongoing mentorship, continuing education, and Kingdom collaboration.
